SmartScope® SP systems are crafted to deliver optimal performance in scanning probe applications. Beginning with a robust base structure, the mechanics of the system are meticulously designed to enhance dynamic data acquisition, a crucial aspect for scanning probe efficiency. The performance specifications for SP models adhere to ISO 10360 standards in most cases.

The SmartScope SP optics feature a combination of a wide field objective lens, digital zoom capabilities, and a 5-megapixel monochrome digital camera. This combination ensures a distortion-free 16 mm diagonal field of view at lower zoom levels, while maintaining high resolution at higher zoom levels. Both the optics and illumination sources are carefully designed to guarantee accurate imaging across all zoom levels.

SmartScope SP systems are offered with various XYZ machine travels to cater to different requirements. The SP25M scanning probe is included as a standard component with all SmartScope SP models. Additionally, the optional TeleStar Plus laser provides an extended working distance with sub-micron resolution. The on-axis and through-the-lens design enables laser measurement across the entire measuring range of the system.
