Low Force Display (LFD) 3D printing uses a flexible yet strong dual-layer film tank for consistent, high-quality prints. Every resin tank includes a reusable lid, making it easy to stack tanks and store resin outside of the machine. With a separate tank for each individual resin color or type, switching materials is as easy as sliding in a new tank.

Resin Tanks are built to last and deliver consistent performance for at least 75,000 layers of printing (typically 1-2 years for the average user).

The Form 4 Resin Mixer improves material performance by keeping resin homogenous in the tank during the printing process. A Resin Mixer is required anytime you are printing. Resin Mixers typically last for the lifetime of your printer.

For convenience, we recommend having one Resin Mixer for each Resin Tank.

Form 4 Build Platform has a durable aluminum surface. A spare Build Platform can speed up your workflow and allow for nonstop printing, whether you’re changing resins or starting a new print while you remove your part.

Form Cure V2  precisely combines heat and 405 nm light to deliver tough, strong prints with unprecedented speed and consistency. Now you can post-cure Form 4/B prints in as little as 60 seconds, with 4x more UV power, 5x faster heat-up times, and a 1.3x larger chamber. To begin curing, just select a validated preset for Formlabs 45+ materials. Advanced users can customize time and temperature to fit their specific needs.

Post-curing completes the chemical reaction started during printing, enhancing final part strength, toughness, heat resistance, and creep resistance while creating a harder, less tacky surface.

For biocompatible materials, post-curing is necessary to achieve the safety standards determined by regulatory agencies.

Low Force Stereolithography (LFS)™ 3D printing uses linear illumination and a flexible film tank to turn liquid resin into flawless parts. A key component of the LFS process, the strong dual-layer film at the bottom of the Form 3L Resin Tank allows for a dynamic and precise print process, scaled up for large format printing.

Form Wash V2 automatically cleans printed parts thoroughly and efficiently with IPA or alternative solvents. Keep parts directly on the Build Platform as you transition them from the printer to Form Wash, or remove parts and place them in the wash basket. Parts are precisely and thoroughly agitated in solvent with an impeller, getting every nook and cranny perfectly clean, automatically for the appropriate time. When washing completes, the Form Wash automatically raises parts out of the IPA so they can air dry.

Solvent Pump is a battery-powered pump that quickly fills and empties a wash bucket for Form Wash. Solvent Pump eliminates the risk of chemical spills and simplifies your workflow.

Form Wash L  automates the finishing of prints from Form 3L . The build platform can be moved directly from the printer to Wash L, which means that you do not have to come into contact with uncured resin.

You then adjust the correct time and the machine does the rest of the work. The finishing takes approx. 10-20 minutes depending on the type of material, and the chamber holds 37.9 liters of isopropanol / TPM . 

When the part has been washed, the platform is raised out of the chamber so that the parts are not overexposed and so that the part can dry without additional steps in the process. 

Form Cure L  is an automatic UV chamber for curing parts printed with Form 3L . The machine has been developed to bring out the best possible mechanical properties in the material you are working with.

The machine comes with ready-made presets for the various materials from Formlabs, as well as WiFi for easier updates.
