SGCentral is an intuitive application that empowers users to customize scan settings, speed, and resolution for ShapeGrabber scanning systems. This feature-rich application is bundled with every ShapeGrabber 3D scanner.

With a range of controls and features, SGCentral facilitates the fine-tuning of scanning parameters to align with specific project requirements. For instance, users can adjust automatically selected parameters by defining the number of scans, angular position of the rotary plate, and utilizing motion controls and laser settings to delineate scanning regions. It also provides precision control over resolution detail and depth of field, optimizing scanning performance.

Once configurations are tailored for a particular part or project, SGCentral™ allows users to save these settings in a file for future use. The preview window displays the evolving point cloud model as scans are collected. Should there be a need to rescan the part, users can simply load the file and initiate the scan.

SGCentral supports various file formats such as .3pi (ShapeGrabber/SmartProfile), .gpd (Geomagic), .psl (Polyworks), .stl (Polygon), xyz (ASCII generic), and more. It ensures a seamless and efficient 3D scanning experience by putting customization and control at your fingertips
