Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) is a symbolic language used in engineering and manufacturing to define and communicate design specifications. It enhances clarity and precision by specifying functional tolerances for size, form, orientation, and location of features on a part or assembly. When implemented well, GD&T ensures that parts fit together accurately and function as intended.

ABOUT THE TRAINER
Mr. Ortiz is mechanical design engineering expert with 15 years of experience in designing, manufacturing and inspecting with GD&T. Previously, he had been a quality supervisor and CMM programmer/operator. He is a full-time mentor and instructor with AGI and is a bilingual (Spanish/English) instructor. He is also translating our GD&T training materials into Spanish.
Manuel is certified in GD&T at the Senior level to the 1994 and 2009 standards.
