ShapeGrabber SGCapture, seamlessly integrated as a plug-in for SmartProfile, empowers users to acquire and evaluate scan data within a unified software package. SmartProfile stands out as the preferred solution for the tolerance evaluation of 3D scanner data, employing proprietary algorithms to minimize measurement uncertainty and generate CMM-like data sets. SGCapture further delivers:

  1. Automated Routines: Effortlessly create automated inspection routines, ensuring swift and repeatable part measurement. These routines encompass the entire scanning process, from data acquisition to the generation of final inspection reports.

  2. Intuitive Features: Align data sets from multiple scan sessions to achieve comprehensive part coverage. Generate meshes suitable for third-party applications like reverse engineering. Exercise direct control over scanner properties to optimize part scanning.

  3. CMM-like Sampler: The 'CMM-like Sampler' transforms dense and noisy scan data into reliable, sparse, 'CMM-like' point data for standard-based dimensional and GD&T evaluation. This feature, based on features and CAD models, samples points using the geometry information of the CAD model. It ensures precision and accuracy in the evaluation process.
