FTA-D3000 – Dual Detector – One Sided Contour Stylus Type

This system is a flexible combination of detectors that can efficiently and rapidly measure contour and surface roughness. It consists of a single-sided stylus and supports interchangeable detector heads for different measurement purposes.

Product Features 

The hot swapping capability enables seamless switching between the contour detector and roughness detector without the need to power off the machine.

The tool-less replacement mechanism, utilizing a thumb-turn clamp, allows for quick and efficient switching between detectors without the need for additional tools.

The stylus drop detection feature promptly identifies any sudden drop of the stylus and automatically stops the measurement process.
Collision monitoring ensures the safety of measurements by monitoring the magnet arm and detector cover, even during rapid movements.

Optional accessories for automatic measurement offer the convenience of automating processes from setup to measurement, streamlining operations.

The Formtracer Avant D3000 is a versatile system that can perform measurements for both contour and surface roughness. The machine allows for easy swapping of the two detector heads without requiring the machine to be turned off.
