The updated BOFA 3D PrintPRO 4 is an advanced fume extraction system tailored for use with large-format industrial 3D printers. It offers adjustable high air-flow rates suitable for various additive manufacturing techniques like material extrusion, powder bed fusion, vat photopolymerization, binder jetting, and material jetting. The system's multi-stage filtration process, adjustable air-flow rate, and high operating pressure ensure industrial-grade performance by effectively capturing and neutralizing potentially hazardous emissions, creating a safe and odor-free work environment.

The 3D PrintPRO 4 features a three-tier filtration system. The initial stage employs a polypropylene pre-filter, which has a 96% efficiency at 2 microns, effectively capturing large particles and extending the lifespan of the subsequent HEPA filter. The HEPA filter comes next, boasting a remarkable 99.997% efficiency at a 0.3-micron particle size. The final stage is the activated carbon filter, designed to absorb toxic gases and odors, with the purified air being released through the exhaust outlet at the unit's bottom. The user-friendly design allows for easy replacement of all filters, and a filter change indicator keeps users informed about the appropriate replacement time.
The BOFA 3D PrintPRO 4 is a compact and robust device with a powder-coated steel body, ensuring durability. Its operation is quiet and energy-efficient, making it suitable for various environments.
